I'm gonna call it a night here and throw in the tower - but been looking at a few on Ebuyer - what one would you recommend to me - and surely there better than what i have?

To upgrade you will need a mainboard, Processor, RAM and possibly a power supply. When you change the mainboard your existing processor, RAM won't fit the new mainboard

I would go for the first one you mention much better than your current PC

They will all work together and your existing existing parts you will need to do a repair install of your windows once all the new bits are fitted do have your windows cd?

Ouch - no i don't

However i do have a Recovery disc that come with it - not sure if that has Windows on it as it never gave me another
