Motherboards - msi pm9m-v probs?? posted in the Hardware forums; i have a new pc which simply wont load/install any os onto it?? wondering if the motherboards a prone to be faulty, pc is two days old??...

Default msi pm9m-v probs??

i have a new pc which simply wont load/install any os onto it?? wondering if the motherboards a prone to be faulty, pc is two days old??

When you say any os, which operating systems have you tried and what is happening?

when i try to load vista, it says loading files across the bottom then i get BSOD, wen i try to load xp sp2, it formats then starts to install, up to 57% (alway 57%) then says cant copy files or windows file is not a valid windows image, then i press esc to skip the next 4 or 5 files, then it freezes???? same for win 2000.

lso if i turn on all the settings, usb, audio, etc from bios i get a differant error which is :

MCUPDATE.DLL PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

**STOP: 0x00000050 ( 0x8237A010, 0x00000000, 0x8227C286, 0x00000000)

** MCUPDATE.DLL - Address 8227C286 base at 82277000, datestamp 4549bcfa
