I'm pretty sure dell have stopped using dodgy power supplies etc and started using standard parts.

Judging by the motherboard model it's a Dell Dimension? As it's a fairly new system it shouldn't be too difficult to find a motherboard that will support your existing configuration.

The link you provided was a local link, you will need to attach the info, however if I recall belerc gives out some private info such as software keys, only paste the details of your system that we need to know. Thanks.

Leb-- I was referring to the inside dimensions of the case-- and the standoffs/mounting of the Motherboard itself.
Ventilation was an issue also.
Power supplies are not non-standard-- but notoriously weak-- especially for SLI.
I had a Dimension 4300-- trying to reuse the stock case turned out to be not worth the trouble-- you can pick up a case cheap.
It creates more issues that it's worth.
Maybe things have gotten better.

I am not trying to discourage anyone from building--I've just been through this-- it turns into a money/frustration pit.

Apologies mate, I didn't mean to tread on your toes, I assumed you were talking about the power supplies dell used to use (not standard ATX) and yeah, most dell power supplies would die under the stress of SLI anyways.

No offense taken at all my friend...

No treading on my toes either-- I'm not perfect... I make mistakes-- and i welcome when someone catches them.
As you can see from the Diagram above-- Dell still makes (uses) odd configurations, though. From the shape of the motherboard itself-- to the angled CPU Slot-- to the CPU Power-connector 4-inches away.
Not that it's bad design... I like it, in fact ...at least this board has 4 RAM- slots/a jumper to clear the CMOS.

I just wanted to warn Creuntus-- that it's not as simple as it sounds at first-- and once you commit you won't give up (or stop spending) until you're happy. And THAT get's expensive/stressful
