Hengis, thanks. The machspeed website wasn't specific about which motherboards needed the sata driver installed, so no I didnt try this. I originally tried to boot up with the OS still installed from my previous
MoBo, which would only work in safe mode, but the entire Sata Drive (500 gigs) was showing without problem, so I didin't think it was neccessary...
I have one small problem with following the instructions on their website to install the driver for the sata drive... that is the only PC I have with a floppy disc drive! Is it possible to install the third party driver at windows setup from the driver cd rom that came with my Motherboard? or from a cd-r which I can burn on another pc? Anything to avoid taking the floppy drive out to install to another pc, then putting back etc would be great.
