Default ASUS P5K-VM LGA 775 Intel G33 uATX Intel Motherboard
I need to get a new motherboard to work with my new core 2 duo. This one looks very nice. This is what my specs would be if i got the new motherboard, anyone see any complications?

1. Asus P5k-Vm Lga 775 Intel G33 uATX Intel Motherboard
2. Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6750 - BX80557E6750 - Box CPU - Socket LGA775
3. DDR2 2GB PC2-5400 (667MHz) Dual Channel (2x1gb), 4-4-4-12, 240-Pin w/Mirrored Black Copper heat spreader, PQI25400-2GDB
4. EVGA E-GEFORCE 7600GT PCI EXPRESS 256MB DD3, DVI, VGA,HDTV

(I Think my memory will not be compatible with the motherbord. Could someone confirm this or will it work?)

You will need a CPU thermal gel. Recommend Artic Silver.

You're right, the RAM you have there would not be compatible with that board. Your board supports PC2-5300, PC2-6400 and PC2-8500.
