I have an interesting thought. I have a computer that uses a BTX form factor, and i have to say, it is great. Components run very cool, and it is very quiet. Yet, it amazes, me that i dont see many BTX motherboards on the market... in fact, only 2 or 3, and neither are available. Why is this? ATX is currently the standard, but it is severely outdated, it has cooling, power, and strength issues. Components get very hot, because of relatively poor airflow symmetry through the case. Components are furhter apart from each other, increasing latency between them. So why is the revolutionary BTX form factor being shunned, despite its amazing, and excellent cooling and performace capabilities and potential. Please post your opinions, comments, and thoughts. Thank you.
