Welcome to PCHF,

First, remove the AC power from the computer for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the AC power and reboot. Then, get back to us letting us know and we will go on to the next step.

If the computer still doesn't boot up let us know that too.

Good Luck

What is happening. Can you boot up now?

What version of Windows are you using?
XP Pro? Vista Home Premium?

If you are still having problems, put your Windows installation CD/DVD into its drive and reboot. If it boots, proceed to where it ask if you want to Install. On this page, you type R for Repair. Do NOT click on the install button.

NOTE: Whenever you return to this message thread, let us know the results of the previous suggestions. That will assist us in further guiding you toward a successful conclusion of your problem.

Good Luck...
