Hi guys

Just got my new custom built pc sporting AMD x2 4600 chip. I was quoted on a Asus M2NPV-VM mobo and have recieved an ASUS M2NBP-VM CSM board. Have i been given a cheaper board or is it a later model. also it has 5.1 audio but i still only have a sterio out jack how do i connect for 5.1 sound??

seems like they are both pretty similar in quality and whatnot. as for the sound, i dunno.

As yes you have been taken but not by much, but thats not the point.. As the board you werre supposed to get has more features..

As for the 5.1 you should have 6.1 surround.. You have to take the three input jacks and put them in correctly and you will have surround

Great t have you here!
I've had a quick look at the boards and there are only minor differences,
The one you have has 5.1 sound, the quoted has 6.1.
The Graphics on the one you have are not as high spec (slightly) as the other.
In all I'd have a "word" about some sort of "discount".
