Just need peoples opinions. simple enough question, which motherboard is best, the Asus P5N-E SLI, or the Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9?

both are within my price range and fit my required feature list pretty much. or are there any other boards of a similar price you'd recommend? thanks

HI PGH,

Difficult decision, which only you can make. Both are excellent make and model boards, and both have a lot of offer. ASUS are a wee bit more popular than ABIT, and I've never had a single problem with ASUS. These would be the only reason why I would personally lean toward ASUS.

I have had allot of luck with Asus as well but between the 2 I would have to go with the Fatal1ty..

I think it depends on your purpose.

The Abit boards are better for gaming...the Asus boards are just great boards all round...stability (normally) and not bad for overclocking and gaming.

I agree with the Asus quality and reliabilty. I would suggest just choosing, or reading up on user reviews and professional reviews.
