Motherboards - power problem with my emachine posted in the Hardware forums; When I turn my computer on, it seems to start but before it can come up it goes off. Any ideas. Some say motherbroad. Others say power supply....

Howdy RBDOBIE and Welcome to HC Help forum.

If you can open your pc, take out your Video card and try to turn on the pc.. If it still does not turn on take out ram and so forth..(all pci cards should be taken out first)

Post back and let us know the oputcome..You might need to get a power meter for the power supply to save money on buying both..
