Default Motherboard Help

hello I need your help guys, well this is what happened.....
My old mother board blew up, so I replaced it with a new one, the new motherboard is the same as my old one.
I put all my old parts in my new pc case with the new motherboard and turned it on, then all I get is the pc setup screen,( press F10 to enter setup?).
After this setup screen it should run into windows startup screen well it doent it just restarts the pc and you get the same process over and over again.

Please help if you can because its driving me mad!

Sounds like you don't have the boot priorities set up.

Set the boot order properly, make sure its looking for the boot sector on the HD

is windows already installed on the HDD? if so, its not going to work. Windows doenst recognize the Mobo as the original. its a copyright protection thing. you have to reinstall windows.

Yeah, you will have to do a repair install but it should atleast attempt to boot it, if it doesn't theres something wrong in the bios or you haven't got things connected properly

Well from his description it sounds like its not posting properly just asking him to setup.

How can he reinstall if its not getting to post completely?
