Default [Resolved] New Drivers?

Hi,I just upgraded my childrens HDD and all seems well except this on my device manager I found a yellow exclamation on NVIDIA Aladdin TNT2 (Microsoft corporation),under properties and device status it says this device cannot start (Code 10) Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device but the first suggestion is to uninstall it and I know nothing about it except that it is a display adapter. Could anybody help my resolve this please. Thanks

Hi, that's the graphics gard (or VGA card). You probably notice that the screen resolution is huge and the colours are wishy-washy? Try downloading and installing this driver: ForceWare Windows XP/2000 32-bit

Hi Hengis, yea I noticed and couldn't figure out why thats how I came across the Nvidia in the manager I was searching around to find out what was wrong.I went to the site and read driver installation hints,I want to be sure I do this right it said under add/remove programs to be sure to remove any Nvidia drivers but there are none there, however under the Nvidia properties in the device manager underdriver details it says there are two drivers 1st one is C:WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\nv4_mini.c, 2nd one is C:WINDOWS\system32\nv4_disp.dll and both of these have green checkmarks.

Anybody? Can you tell me if I should download the new drivers with what I found. The 2 drivers I found had these discriptions: NVIDIA Compatible Windows 2000 Display driver and Miniport Driver, Version 56.73, File version:6.14.10.5673

I also found this on the NVIDIA website under FAQ:The Code 10 error is most often a result of not having the option "Assign IRQ to VGA" enabled in your motherboards system BIOS. Please note: Making changes to your system BIOS can cause your computer to malfunction or become inoperable. If you are unsure how to make BIOS changes, don’t. Seek assistance from your system administrator or technician. If you are familiar with making changes to your BIOS, you may proceed with this section.

On most motherboards, you may enter your motherboard's BIOS by clicking on the "Del " key as soon as your turn on your PC. If this does not bring you to your system BIOS, consult your motherboard manufacturer or system manufacturer for more information. Once inside of the system BIOS, search for the option “Assign IRQ to VGA”. Check that this option is enabled and then save these settings. Exit the system BIOS and boot back into Windows. The error code should be gone.
What is IRQ? Should I do this?

Ok so I found out what IRQ is and took a look in my BIOS and it is off but turning it on won't matter when I have no drivers. I downloaded the Forceware release 90 V.93.71 and as it started setup it said: The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.Setup will now exit.
Now what?
