Default PCI bridge device?

If this thread is in the wrong place, sorry I'm a noob.

Last time I posted here, an angel came from heaven and gave me a perfect answer that solved my problem. Well now I am wondering about things in my device manager that say "no driver is installed". Namely the "Other PCI Bridge Device". In the screenshot below, I chose to reinstall the drivers for that device. I simply chose "unknown manufacturer" and got SCSI/RAID Host Controller as a possible driver... Well I stopped there and decided to post.

When you look at the list of system devices, some such as "NForce Hyper Transport Memory Bridge" say "No drivers are installed for this device" when I click on their properties.

I was messing around with some nForce stuff when I first got this computer and I may of messed it up. Is it possible I could have some problems in there that are hurting my PC's performance? In the Gateway "Driver Recovery" program, there are a few drivers there but I can only see a couple of nForce drivers and they reallly dont look like what I need... except maybe the one that is
"nForce lan Chipset driver". I don't know... but I do think that the "Other PCI bridge" device is a problem I caused... BTW I have system restored turned off, is that a smart thing to do?
Experts?

Hi Mac,

Welcome to The PCHF,

At a fist glance I think that you might have an on board RAID controller that needs the drivers, ideally you want the driver disk that comes with the motherboard to be able to install the correct one. If ou can, let us know exactly the make/model of the board and we'll be able to point you in the right direction. The app here can help identify the board.
As to having system restore off, it does save some space but does take away the ability to roll back frm any installations that might mess up the system.
let us know how you get on,
