That's some bad typing right there, ayuh. LOL. You definitely win on that one my friend.

You know that is not the first time that I've heard that about educational institutions, and even some companies, and donating the items is a much bigger pain for them, many times they just want the stuff to go away. I think the problem is that they leave the marketing of the sale to the techs. I hope you find some really great deals.

Note to other users reading this thread, it's a good idea if you are looking for a new computer and need a great deal to contact the tech support department at your local college, often times they are willing to tell you when their sale will take place.

Thanks for bringing up that information Justing, I'm sure you have done a number of people a big favor.

Well your all welcome.

I desided to just go ahed and get a new mother borad, when i build my new pc. I only have about $300 but i think i can do pretty good. Im going to buy from Tiger Direct bought from them in the past, fast delivery and good prices. So this is what i have priced for $303.72 :

Biostar P4M80M4 Via Socket 478 MicroATX Motherboard

Seagate / 100GB / 7200 / 2MB / ATA-100 / Retail / Hard Drive

Ultra 512MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz CL3 Memory I will buy another stick with the $30 rebate.

Diamond S120 Radeon 9550 / 256MB DDR / AGP 8x / DVI / VGA / TV Out / Video Card

Kworld Digital/Analog HDTV Tuner PCI Card Dose this work sort of like Tivo?

So i was wondering what you thought about these parts, and if Biostar is a good brand for mother borads. I dont do much gaming right know becouas my computer sucks, but i would like to. Mine right now can't even do googal earth. I alredy have a case, power suply, dvd/cd burner, and the Celeron D prossecor and fan from the old mother borad. So thats all right now.

Hey Justin,

This is a really good question, with a lot of varying answers. Do me a favor, and put your last post into a new thread in the MOBO forum. You will get more attention there, and I think at this point a varied point of view would be beneficial to your decision.

Look forward to seeing you in the forums.
