No, I did not remove any RAM. I just added another 256mb to get a total of 512mb. I cannot get any feedback from MSI. They have this nice live update where you can email, as well as accessing drivers but unforunately no one answers.

If my memory serves me correct...the J17 for this particular motherboard is located near the back end of the video card and has a yellow jumper on it...

(I used to have this motherboard).
