Motherboards - [Answered] How do i find my motherboard model posted in the Hardware forums; I just bought an EI systems 214 and its pretty **** fine I open it up and saw that the motherboard is FOXCONN. But i dont know where to find ...

I just bought an EI systems 214 and its pretty **** fine

I open it up and saw that the motherboard is FOXCONN. But i dont know where to find the model number


How can i find my motherboards model number without opening it up again?


Because once i find my motherboard model i can do some research and find out its compatible upgrades. RAM, Graphics card etc.

You should be able to get the details you need from SIW: SIW Download

Click on the motherboard section and it will tell you everything you need to know!

Oh ok i see this programme will come in handy


But.... i went to motherboard it says the manufacturer is DIXONSXP and the model name dont match any of the modles on the FOXCONN website.



*Sigh i guess ill jsut open it up*

PS. How do i see the model number once i open the pc up it should be in the middle right?

Normally in the middle yep, I've seen some that don't show the model numer at all. Hope it's not the same in your case though.
