Exclamation Computer freezes on Startup!

Hello, I recentley remformated my PC for the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, now after I've reinstalled software and gone on with my normal activites, it starts to happen again. AFTER JUST 4 DAYS OF REFORMATTING MY PC! I have no viruses or spyware, Im 100% sure of it. Heres a list of programs I have installed on my computer:

-firefox
-Alshow
-AlZip
-Yahoo Messenger
-WMP 11
-Steam
-Quicktime
-Outlook express
-MSN Messenger
-Photoshop CS
-Adobe pdf readers and other junk
-Jasc paintshop stuff, that i want to uninstall- it installed while I installed printer drivers and junk.

Is there any programs out there that can look for problems in pcs, and yess I realize how idiotic that is. I hope theres nothing wrong with the registry. Ohh and if I end explorer.exe before the 1st 5 seconds of PC startup it doesnt freeze until like 1-10 mins later. Please help!

Hi there and welcome to PCHF

Can you run a quick test please. Open your Task Manager (right click on the start bar and select Task Manager) and on the "Processes" tab click on CPU until the higest % is at the top. Then run your PC as normal and wait for the freeze...the faulting program should appear at the top of the list at the time of the freeze - let us know what it is.
