OK, the mPGA478B, means socket 478. This is good because you can get very good socket 478 processors. The the link you provided to the ASUS website is a 478 motherboard too, and it's a nice motherboard that does come with a lot of onboard features. The only thing that is missing is the newer SATA connections for the latest hard drives, but that was the only thing I could see wrong. You may never even use SATA. Apart from that it has a lot of expandability in every aspect and I would definately recommend this motherboard.
