Hey there it might actually be a virus which is causing it ,so lets first try to eliminate it being a virus,

while we wait could you please follow the instructions here http://www.pchelpforum.com/hijackthi...a-prework.html

and post a Avg Anti Spyware log and a Hijack this log for the security team

I'm pretty sure this wont be a virus issue, so no need for the Prework I think.

But excellent going in that you're already upto date with the change from Ewido to AVG btw.

Hya Tezh, welcome to PCHF.

Are you sure you have connected everything correct? Like all the power connections, IDE/SATA/floppie cables, jumper settings ect.?

Is it your first build, or do you have experience in building pc's?

Smile msi k9n

hi i posted a problem on here a few days ago regarding my new system. i thought i had solved it but i didnt. my problem was when i try to burn a dvd the system looses all power and i have to restart again. tried all sorts of things including
full format,
swapping memory
sticks around,
a different dvd rewriter,
i even whent out and bought a new psu which cost me £60

in the end i looked on the MSI FORUM and found out there is a problem with the mainboard when you put dual core cpu in.so i have sent it for testing at the place i bought it an got a new one the ABIT NF-M2 nView

i would like to thank the people that tried to help me tezh
