Soyo motherboard BIOS flash failiure
Hi,
I recently put together a pc with some old parts, it worked but i tried to flash
the BIOS and thats where it went all wrong.
I believe i made myself sure to have the correct bin file and awdflash, but the bin file failed.
Now, i tried to hotflash but that didnt work, i made a bootable disk, this time with the saved old BIOS, and an autoexec.bat file cos my display don't work anymore either.
The problem is that my floppy drive does nothing.
I made a bootable cd like the floppy, but cd reader wont read, it works though.
Now im stuck and would REALLY appreciate some help cos im fresh out of ideas to fix this.
Oh yes, ive been so stupid as to not print out the info on the mb and stuff, so this will
be a challenge i guess, except the info on the BIOS chip: ASD AE29F2008-12 0011,
processor says intel pentium 3 but last time i checked with sisandra before the flash, it said pentium 2.
