Exclamation [Fixed] HELP OMG HELP!! The Frustration!!!!

I really dont know what forum to put this in, its kind of a whole computer problem and doest fit into a sub-category.

Okay, heres the scoop. For the last few days i have been collecting the last few parts i needed to build a whole new awesome computer and i finally got the final part today and finished it up. I plugged it up and it starts out working great until it gets to the windows loading screen. The harddrive was previously in my old PC and it worked great until i took it out and put it in this one (thats why i have windows already installed). Anyway, after a few seconds at the black windows loading screen, a blue screen pops up for a split second and you cant read it at all and then my PC reboots. I tried checking the memory and all the connections and going into the BIOS setup but i really have no idea what the problem is. Please help, i have just been tweaking it for the last few hours and it has me completely stumped. If it would help for you to know the hardware i have in it then please let me know and i will post. Thank you.

Hi Kscince...

Unfortunatly, Windows XP doesn't let you transfer the isntall between motherboards that are different. You are recieving the BSODs (Blue screen of death) because it's searching for the particular chipset, and can't find it.

The only option you have - if you don't want to lose all your data, is to do a repair install of Windows.
