Default Help with a MSI K7N2 Delta2-LSR motherboard.

I wonder if anyone can help. I purchased a PC of a guy from work. It stated it had a 2.05Ghz Athlon XP 2800 Processor. I got the machine home and it all worked fine except for it saying when I booted it up that the processor was 1.25Ghz. I then spoke to a friend of mine who said I need to up the CPU Frequency in the bios settings, so that is what I did. I then rebotted and straight away the monitor said check cable connection and there was no picture. I then spoke to the guy at work who said I should reset the CMOS. The motherboard is a MSI K7N2 Delta2-LSR. Now the manual says I need to move a jumper from 1 - 2 to 2 - 3. I need to short jumper 2 - 3 and this will reset the CMOs (I don't no how to short these?). I did try various things like moving this while the machine was off, then turning the mahine on and leraving it for a bit, but nothing worked still displayed check connection on the monitor. Now I haven't tried another monitor cable yet, and I don't think it could be the graphics card. Does anyone have an other idea as to what it could be.....?
Please please help if you can.
Cheers

OMG - Doh! That's what happens when I try to help when doing other stuff at the same time....

Ok, sorry for that. Can you get into the bios by booting up and holding down the Insert key at the same time - this should override any bios settings that are stopping the "normal" boot process.
