Problem Computer would not post
Issue Install new ops sys, working sound card from prev computer, good modem from prev computer.
Installed win98, computer would not post.
Checked all connections. Started compuer with only video card and memory. When sound card installed, problem happend again.
Since modem has sound in it, any known issues with that. Creative sound card, modem blaster modem.

Ah , i think i understand youre other post now. You probebly mean the "motherboard" has sound build in , instead of "modem".

Try to disable the onboard sound in youre bios , and then try to install the creative card again.
