No thats another problem, cause in your example the system just boots without the user being able to enter bios, in my case the bios won't even start, and when it tries to i get the rom checksum error. read this page: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mai...os-update.html, from the part about the bios rom checksum error (at 3/4 of the page) It says you need to restore your old bios, cause i dont have one im gonna put on a new one :tongue:

Yeah im gonna restore it, but on the link you gave (containing the updates) there are like 6 zip files, all with a different .bin in it... Which is the newest bios update? cause i need just 1 file... I think im taking the s6103F2C.zip, thats the newest

Yes as far as I can see that's the newest BIOS for your board.

Well it aint working (yet?), because it won't read the boot disk i made, it says 'Detecting A drive media...', and after that 'drive A error', which made me think something's wrong with my diskette drive... but using a different diskette drive didn't help out here, what else could be wrong (apart from an entirely f*cked up mobo, that ain't gonna be used for no lan-party dedicated server)?
