Default [Fixed] booting with no video

ok here is my problem, i just finished building a new computer. i installed drivers & win2kpro. i just tried to boot up and i get it to power but no beeps or video displayed? where have i gone wrong. please tell me i didnt burn out the board.

Hya Joey. :smiley:

That could be plenty of things , i would first check if the board's placeholders are in place and it isn't shorting on the case.

Then check if all connections are connected alright , like an extra power lead to the mobo or power to the vid card maybe.

Also check if the cmos jumper isn't set in the reset position.

If that doesn't help try switching components , and test them out in an other pc if possible.
