Default [Fixed] - USB to Motherboard help please.

Ok, I have built my own computer.

I have an ATX case and the ASUS A8N-E motherboard. My problem is, the USB slots on the front of my case aren't working. I followed the cable back so I know I am fiddling with the right cable but I am getting nowhere. The cables I am messing with are the tiny ones with the black square at the end that go into pins. On them it says "Ground", "-D", "+D" and "VCC"

Hey there Vamp, welcome to PCHF.

Have you checked your motherboard manual?

If not I have attached a picture that explains the USB connection to the board.

Hey. It's not the attachable USB ports, these USB ports are attached to the front of my case. I have read my manual and have followed it the best I can but they still don't work. The ones on the back are fine.

Ok thats fine, this will be a bit more complicated to connect then.

Take a look at the site below, it is lengthly but should help you connect everything:

Sorry for the double post, just letting you know that I fixed it. Thanks a lot man. The manual was sending me to the wrong part of the motherboard but that link cleared it up.
