Welcome to PCHF.

Frustrating huh?

I can't really think of anything but...

It seems like the only things you haven't investigated are the CPU and the motherboard...also, can you try another stick of RAM?

Unhappy Thanks For The Responds

well i have not tried new ram but i thought i might try pc 2700 instead of 2100 i think i saw a thread in another forum where the guy had the same thing happening and he put 2700 in and it worked right away. The system is not new but the mother board is brand new. i think i will try new ram and then a processor if that does not work. will post results.
