Okay I got this far.I got to a black dos screen.I typed in some commands I got from a website.It starts to copy files but then it stops at 15%.It says setup was unable to copy this file(cyclad-z.inf).I dont know whats going on.I try to restart and it does the same thing.

Can it be that my motherboard needs configured.Or maybe so0methings not set right.I just dont understand why windows loads fine on the same harddrive but only when its in a different pc.

The hardware gurus are not online just now. Be patient, they will be along shortly. I am sure that we can get this working for you. I apologize, but hardware is not my area of expertise, and I want you to get the right information.

That sounds like it could be a corrupt file.

Let try to install Windows 98 on the system again, at least then we know that the Win98 CD works 100%.

I recommend putting the drive in your other machine and format it - FAT32.
Then remove the drive, place it in your new machine and Boot off your WIN98 CD and start installing windows.

Could you also make sure that all the fans in your system are working properly.
And for the meantime could you remove any extra cards you might have in the machine, e.g network. just until the windows install completes.

EDIT - If you installation fails again then could you do the following:[*]I know you said you tried your RAM in another machine, would you be able to remove the RAM from your other machine and stick it into this one and try install again.

Okay Heres the things ive done so far.
I put only the necessary componants in my pc,! stick ram ,motherboard,harddrive,cdrom,psu,keyboard mouse...I tried a clean format and installed windows fine on the harddrive when it was on the other computer.I then put it back with the asrock and reformatted it and tried to install and got same error,so its not the windows 98se cd.The link you gave is for windows 95 and its suggestion deals with dos commands.With windows 98 their is no dos.All I have to do is load from disc and start installation.I am going to try switching the ram like you said and then check back in with you.
