hi all,
i have uploaded my pc spec on a word doc.
my ram isn't performing and i think it's due to the bios. can anyone tell me the best one to use for my board and how to do it?
the reason i want this is because the computer won't accept anymore ram than 512 and it ran for 18 months on 1gb fine. after bios was wiped then the problems started.

can you identify your motherbaord?

i have hust remembered that i installed live update and i've checked that my bios is the latest release.
can you think of anything that may be stopping me being able to input any mor ram?
