Default [Fixed] computer not booting up to bios

I have a similar problem to the last guy.? I have a brand new gigabyte 3d1 MB.? You know the one with the dual gpu video card.? Well I put it together last night and made it into to the bios and turned off the integrated audio and whatnot and then went to bed.? Today when I went to turn it on the LEDS on the front turned on and then turned off.? All fans spin up and all lights turn on for a second and then turn back off again.? If I press the power button repeatedly it seems that the system runs normally but I didn't boot like that in case it was a CPU overheating measure.? I took out all cards and disonected everything.? I even pulled over another old case and used the power switch from that with the same effect.? The LEDS on both sticks of ram turn on and I tried clearing the CMOS and taking out the battery for 10 minutes with no power to the MB.? I'm at a loss.? Is it my MB, CPU, or PSU thats causing this?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tim

Hi Tim

Have you checked to see that there isn't a short on your motherboard - i.e: the motherboard is making contact with the case at a particular point?

Did you also move a jumper around when clearing the cmos?
If youre mobo has a jumper for that anyway ,have a Look in youre manual if you do have one ,and for exact instuctions for youre mobo ,it probebly looks something like this:

Turn off the computer and unplug the power cord.
Remove the onboard battery.
Move the jumper cap from pins 1-2 (Normal) to pins 2-3 (Clear CMOS). Keep the cap on pins 2-3 for about 5~10 seconds, then move the cap back to pins 1-2.
Replace the battery.
Plug in the power cord and turn the computer back on.

Thanks for the help. I picked myself up an Antec 430 watt PSU today and installed it. My computer booted up just fine. I guess 350 watts of generic weren't enough.
