Default [Resolved] processor broken?

I broke my motherboard by putting the wrong ram in! I bought a new motherboard & exchanged the ram,
but still nothing comes on screen & my computer beeps . Could the processor be fried, or maybe its the graphics card? It can't be anything else could it? Because there would be at least something on the screen If it was

Tell us exactly what motherboard make and model you have and the beeps (lenth and timing) and we'll see if we can diagnose your problem

What makes you think the RAM broke the motherboard. Did anything happen e.g. Smoke - (I have seen it happen)

One of the most common things that i have heard and not only experienced when connecting/building a new pc is that your dont use your motherboad spacers, and you screw your motherboard in to tight, creating a short between the motherboard tray. Also, is your CPU Fan turning???

The power is on all fans are running , lights & all. It is a Gigabyte GA-K8NS Pro & the beeps go like this :- 1 shortish beep , 1 very long beep ,then continuous short beeps the same as the first. I wasnt completely sure the ram broke the motherboard ,but then the next day when i was totally stressed out & had my mind on other things I put my old ram back in upside down!!!!!!!!! So i think that was the killer blow. If you are saying that the wrong ram could not break the motherboard then the problem was there before I fried the upside down ram. After testing other things I am convinced it is the graphics card that is broken. To get something on screen you only need a Processor ,Graphics card ,motherboard & ram dont u? So it must be 1 of then, the MB & ram r new & i have tried a different processor so surely its the Gcard .... please tell me if u agree that it is the Gcard.

Thanks 4 all the help

Im going to say no, u dont need a graphics card to have a PC running u need one to see the content. I also dont think that its the gcard because your monitor would say that it has no signal im sure. are u using a DVI connection or standard???
