Default Monitor Resolution

Hello,

I made a post a few days ago about the monitor issues I was having, after it finally bit the dust once and for all I went out and bought a new one.

The model I bought is a:

Dell IN2010N 20" Widescreen.

After hooking the monitor up and installing the drivers everything seemed okay...that is until I tried to change the resolution. If I try changing it through Windows I get 3 different options. 800 x 600, 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 720. When I was reading up about the specs of this monitor it was stated as having a max res of 1600 x 900 at 60 Hz. Catalyst Control Centre lets me select this option but Windows doesn't seem to pick up on it.

Ah, if anyone could help me out here I'd be most grateful as I'm at a loss as to what to do.

Monitor:
Dell IN2010N

GPU:
ATI 4850 X2

Thanks

Hello Arch Enemy, welcome back, after 800x600,your setting for 1024x768 is a fair standard for screen resolution. That is what i use...

I'd try reinstalling your video card drivers so they redetect the available resolutions.
