Default Pc screen problems what to do?

Hi just ike some help please I have a lg flatonw1934s on the screen i see fait like see though wave lines on the screen then they go off and stay off but sometimes they come back on again i running my pc on vista Any ideals what this could be i have change the refresh rate. but still happens could it be the sreen resolution try that still the same? Thankyou David

p.s. all drivers are updated.
video card is 8800 ultra xfx

hi it is a 19in and the res is 1440 by 900

This is the manufacturers default screen resolution and should not be changed.

Re-install your graphic card drivers to the latest version, and this should fix the problem...
