Default 2 monitors, one quality is poor

Hello, i have just attached a 2nd monitor to my pc, and the quality of it is very poor. Its run in multiple display configured from the NVIDIA control panel

My main one is 20.1 inch SUN X7200A [Monitor] and the 2nd one is 15 inch LG Flatron L1510S.

I have NVIDIA GeForce 7100 GS graphics card.

I wanted to know, what could be done to improve the quality of the 2nd monitor, becuase at the moment, its kind of blurry and smallish and hard to read.

Thanks, Sam.

Hi

Are you sure that the monitor in question performs well when connected alone?

Did you try changing the display size of that monitor in Nvidia Control Panel to a lower resolution? Having the same resolution on both monitors may not always be the best idea when there's that much size difference.

The down side to that is that Nvidia drivers aren't always the best at resizing when you move from a higher rez to a lower rez so you'll have to get used to that.

Sorry I didn't reply for so long, but on a 15" I would probably go with 1024x768 but you can play around with different settings and see what looks the best for you.

You might also try different refresh rats and see if that clears it up for you also.

Alright, il have a play around and see what happens when i get home (I am on holiday at the moment). My concern is, if i change the res or refresh rate it will change the quality of my 21 inch (main) monitor.

Can someone help me out on a good graphics card with a budget of 50 pounds.

Thanks, Sam

Changing the resolution and/or the refresh rates on one monitor won't affect the other monitor at all. They're configured independently from each other.
