Another laptop issue

Started a few months back
I have installed a new screen, and battery, but it was happening before that.

ve been getting these lines on my screen for a few months now. It happens someitimes on mains power, normally just after starting windows, but pretty much every time on battery power although someitmes its straight away and sometimes takes 10-15 mins. Once it has happened the laptop freezes and I have to reboot.

I have tried it in safe mode and it doesnt appear to happen.

Hook it to an external monitor Stan if the same happens which I bet it will then the onboard GPU is down the pipe.

Try it and let us know.

If the screen works in safe mode you should try re-installing the video drivers.

I dont have a cable to hook it up

. I'll try the drivers though, thanks. I'll post back when Ive done it.

Thats proving difficult. Can I roll back drivers? Or delete and let it find it again? Would that work?
