Default Display problems

Hi,new user here so be gentle with me !

My 6 year old daughtert decided she would help out with the housework and decided to vacuum everywhere, including my keyboard !

Problem I have now is this. The monitor display has gone "weird" it has two "tabs" coming in from the edge each side top and bottom, quite large. And the display is wavy at the top and bottom as well.

I have tried to correct this using the monitor ( HP P1100 21" CRT) settings and the best i can do is put it to full Pincushion shape this gets rid of the "tabs" and stops the waviness ,however it isn't ideal. Useable for general web browsing and e-mail etc but that is about it,anybody any idea what she may have hit keywise?

Any suggestions ( other than keep the cleaner away from the kid) greatly appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Brian

Hello there devonhawker.

First hide the hoover. My 6 yearold is banned from hoovers and only allowed feather dusters.

Right click some were on your desktop and choose properties and adjust your display settings.

Are you able to post a screen shot of how it appears now?

Thankyou.

JB.
