Monitors - Monitor black once start-up posted in the Hardware forums; Ah ok i have solved the problem after hours lol! Basically my monitor only accepts certain resolutions... either really low ones, or ideally 1680 x 1050 which is the optimal ...

Ah ok i have solved the problem after hours lol!

Basically my monitor only accepts certain resolutions... either really low ones, or ideally 1680 x 1050 which is the optimal one. I bought the TV without a manual so i wasnt able to look it up.

To change the resolution i just pressed F8 when booting, then selected Enable VGA mode or something.
Problem solved, i'm so happy!
