Arrow PS3 on a pc monitor

Ok im not very good at technical stuff but I was wondering if there were anyway I could save space and money hooking a ps3 up to my pc monito rather than buying a tv. This is my monitor; ViewSonic Europe | VA1912w A series LCD Monitor
and this is my pc which does contain a tv card hence why i don't currently own a tv ; PC Pro: Product Reviews: Dell Dimension C521

I havent changed anything to do with my setup scince i bought the pc and im really not good with tech terms so the simpler the better for me lol.

Default Re: PS3 on a pc monitor

Going by the specs of the monitor it does not have a dvi connector on it. You could then get a hdmi to dvi plug and use that.

A kvm switch would be the go, although I have never seen a reasonably priced dvi one.

If you were to hook up the ps3 to a vga connection (that's if you can get a hdmi to vga plug) it would look pretty daggy I reckon...
