Default Monitor Freezes

I have currently built my first PC and it looks awesome. Only thing is now every once in a while during online gaming the monitor will freeze the frame of game and thats it. CP is still running and you cant alt+ctrl+del out of it. What would cause this problem and how can it be fixed?

First thought is overheating:

Download this:

SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

Have you tried cranking down the settings on your game to low or medium to see if that helps?

ok tried cranking down settings still did it. also replaced psu thinkin it was an ampage thing well it still is doing it. but for some reason when i open the nvidia performance program and check the psu it shows that its not getting the 30amps that the pci-e is suppose to be delivering. Or does it auto do that on its own? because the card needs 26amps to operate.

If it needs 26 amps to operate I don't see why a factory PSU wouldn't give it that. What PSU are you using?
