Hello,

I need a bit of help. I purchased a Samsung 2232BW... when I install the Natural Color Pro I get an Invalid hInst and the program won't work.

I can't find a way to set properly my monitor, as I miss of a calibrator for colours.... Each help is deeply appreciated

Can you give us the exact text of the error message please?

Hi there. I have exactly the same problem - and the thing is that there is nothing more to this error message than 'invalid hInst' (no error code, no nothing). Any suggestions?

I am also experiencing the same problem "invalid hInst" from the application "Natural Color Pro" a SAMSUNG app.. Purchased monitor "2253LW" and installed driver and apps. (Natural Color Pro, and MagicTune Premium(which is also failing with a different error))
My configuration is;
Intel Core Duo E6550 2.33 2.33
2 GB memory
64 bit OS VISTA
C: Drive 80 Gig WDC
F: Drive 2 114 Gig Raided
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS

Problem:
Purchased SAMSUNG 2253LW on 10/3/08
Installed on 10/3/08 with the 64 Bit OS Driver
Installed App. Natural Color Pro no 64 bit version that I could find this is the app the is receiving the error "invalid hInst", Start the app the SAMSUNG screen displays then clears then a little box appears with the message "invalid hInst" then click OK then get a second one click ok the get program closing. that is all that happens.
Installed MAgicTune 64bit Version not sure it is working it just sits there an EXE "GAMMATray.exe" is intiated at startup. then just sits there no activity that I can see only option in right click is to exit

If anyone knows the resolution or has any ideas or is experiencing the same problem and has works with SAMSUNG on it, PLEASE let me know
