Default laptop to TV connection

trying to connect laptop to 50" plasma TV using hdmi to DVI cable all is connected properly but nothing on TV -- laptop only has 60 MHz setting, what am I missing to get laptop to display on big screen? thanx

Default Re: laptop to TV connection

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Firstly update your graphics card driver.

Then use windows display settings to see if the TV is picked up there and configure from there.

Then use your graphics card control panel adavnaced options to configure it.

Please post your laptop specifications please this may help in your issues.
