ok...i'm new at this...so here goes.....

I'm thinking of buying this monitor:-

but before I make the investment (€188), I'd like some advice.

1) is it any good?
2) from what I can see, it has 'S-video in' and 'composite' - so I should be able to connect other equipment to it directly - Is there any little box or something that would convert a standard tv antenna cable to work on the monitor without using a computer - i dont mind a media player. if so - what??

I've never thought very much of Belinea. One the posative side they are very cheap, but they are very basic in terms of functionality and I have not found them too reliable.

Popular and reliable makes include: ASUS, Acer, Samsung, SyncMaster (to name a few).

As for the Antenna question. What you need for this is a "TV Tuner". You might as well buy the PC USB version for the price your would pay for a set top box. For example: MiniHDTV USB TV Tuner,PTV-384-EF

Popular and reliable makes include: Hauppage and Pinnacle.
