You have not installed an operating system yet on this computer?

The pins are diffrent?Do you mean the monitor is either a VGA or DVI connection?VGA being small round pins and fits into a blue port on back of computer and DVI being flat pins and fits into white port on back of computer?

Is plug and play enabled in BIOS?

What do you have set in your BIOS for graphics card settings?

Hello. So you now get BIOS screen and post screen?
Is this computer a self build?
How many hard drives do you have fitted and are the jumpers set to master and slave?
Do you have only hard drives attached to the IDE cable or do you have both hard drives and CD/DVD rom attached to this IDE cable?
If more than 1 CD/DVD rom fitted are these also set as master and slave?
Do you have any SATA drives of any kind fitted?

Can you enter BIOS and locate your IDE config and set it to auto detect your hard drives.I am not familiar with your BIOS.

Locate plug and play and enable it also.

Connect your CD/DVD rom drives but not on same IDE cable as your hard drive.

Lets get this computer fully connected and built first.
