Default multiple displays

hello
im currently using windows vista with nvidia geforce 8600 GS video card and im trying to hook up my tv as well as the monitor. But when i go into the nvidia control panel there is a bubble selected saying "only use one display (single)" and i cant uncheck this. i can have either the tv or monitor hooked up using vga in one port but i cant have both at the same time. there is currently vga or hdmi for the tv hookup and vga for monitor. thanks for the help

Hello,Ok connect your tv to HDMI connection and monitor to VGA.
Now go into Vista control panel or right click some were on your monitor screen and scroll to properties not the NVIDIA control panel.Choose display settings and set up dual screens before using NVIDIA control panel.

Did you click identify monitor? It apears it shows both TV and monitor.Try changing the primary selection.

Did you use NVIDIA advanced settings and TV setiings?

Power off computer then connect both items.Reboot.

Update drivers for your GPU.
