Smile [Resolved] Dual Screen problems

I recently had a fault with my 6800GS where i was running dual DVI monitors,

I found an old radeon 9550 laying about so threw that in but now i cant seem to get dual display

My current displays are a

- Samsung 22" (wide)
Connected Via DVI

- Dell 19" (normal)
Connected Via AGP

On my old card using the Nivida toolbox i could set it to act as 2 seperate monitors (play a game on one and surf the web on another) but now I can extend the desktop across the two (use it as one big monitor) but not add it as a seperate monitor.

Hope someone out there can help me out

Hello have you reinstalled fresh drivers?Go to manufacturers website and download and install this will require a reboot.

You need the Radeon control panel to dual setup.

Radeon 9550 Graphics Technology

Did you choose advanced settings?

Have you checked windows setup for dual monitors?

Have you reinstalled the monitor drivers?

Hi,
but it wont let me use the option "extend main onto monitor" only clone and stretch
Is it greyed out or do you set it then it doesn't stay?

The options i have are as follows,

- Stretch main (horizontally or verticly)
- Clone main with monitor
- Extend main onto monitor

All the above work except "Extend main onto monitor" the option is active and not grayed out but when i click it the pc tries to activate the dual screen but then reverts back (no display appears on the second monitor)

The only thing that i can put it down to is because im running the 22" widescreen on DVI and the 19" regular on AGP, but it doesnt make sense why it worked with the nivida drivers : /

Thanks again for the time your taking to help me fix this
