yeah, the strange thing is that windows display settings does'nt detect a second monitor where as the cat CP does :/

Guess ill just have to run it with one monitor for now

Have you tried unplugging 22 inch monitor and set main as the 19 inch.

Reboot once all drivers fresh are installed.

Power down and install 22 inch and see if it is picked up as a secondery monitor?

A very strange thing happened, i was trying what you said regarding setting the 19" as main (which worked) but then i thought "why dont i try and run my old G-force card that i OC'ed to much on the ATI framework, so i erased all the nividia drivers and made a slap happy job of cleaning the reg files, put in my old GFX card and before the usual point of black screen i got the "no ATI device connected" it switched to 16 bit colour and i was able to get enough time in to dl and install the new nivida drivers.

touch wood (<--- thats me looking for some) all seems to be back to normal
