helo all. got a problem, monitor wont jump out of standby mode tried motherboard battery trick, taking out the rams and graphics card, cant get it to switch on via me laptop. dont know wot else to do. e mail me or post reply thank you
Dose your monitor turn on when the laptop is booted up?
If so then try to do the following so your computer won't go into sleep mode.
Start>Control Panel>Classic View (if your in category view)>Power Options> Open The Advance Tab>Under Power Options It say "When I close the lib of my laptop hit the down option and select do nothing>and under when it says "when i press the power button" chose "Ask Me what to do">Open The Hibernate Tab>Disable Hibernation>open the Power Schemes> Turn All the options under the when Plugged in To Never>and under when on batteries Turn all the options to Never.
then your monitor should never fall asleep of standby or hibernate.
