Unhappy [Pending] 2600XT CARD-Medion monitor slow to wake

New Graphic card installed. My normal 19 inch monitor takes a while to wake up
meaning it goes past "delete" to change or view bios Otherwise fine...

I have replaced with a second 19inch monitor - an lIyama - wakes up straight away.

Both are connected via DVI connection

Where do I start?

The Graphic card is HIS 2600XT - Up to date drivers installed

Anyone any ideas please?

Hello Devonshire Welcome to PCHF

There is really nothing you can do about something like that. If you are going to continue using the old monitor, just turn it on a few seconds before you turn your computer on if you need to see the splash screen.

There isn't a setting that changes the warm-up time of a monitor. None that I know of anyways.

I don't know if that answers your question or not, but I hope it helps!

The only problem I see is if you need to access bios so perhaps when you get post beep hit pause untill the screen warms up or just enter the setup key. If your systems fully set up there isnt a problem
