Default Monitor giving up?

I know the monitor is propably done for and I'll send it for service but just to get a second opinion

Well my monitor had for some months now a beautiful blue vertical line on the far right. Didn't care too much as it didn't prove much of a problem being so far to the side. But yesterday the monitor started flickering with white horizontal lines all over the screen, stretching the screen and filling it with those white lines. Sometimes it stops for 20-30 minutes and looks perfectly fine and then starts again

Here is a video of the problem:

Thanks

ps. Its not the graphics card since I unplugged it from the screen and still the same problem

Hey,

Did u try another VGA cable yet?

Edit: NM, it wouldn't be that, just read you removed it (unplugged) it from the gfx card. My opinion is see how much a service will cost first...it may be chaeper to buy a new one thesedays.

No. I'll check if I have one and give it a try before sending it to service. Thanks for the suggestion :P

I would have jumped straight for the VGA cable too.
