Exclamation Lines rolling down my monitor
Hey i have grayish wavy lines type of a thing rolling down my monitors screen i have a 17" CHIMEI CMV 745A (TFT-LCD) monitor and i dont know what the problem is i have tryed my screen on another computer and the lines are still on my screen and i have tryed a diffrent monitor on my screen and it had nothing there it was fine but my monitor still has those wavy lines but when i change the the resolution and everything they keep doing it went in to my graphics card a....
TORNADO GeForce FX 5500 and went to custom timing and i did manage to get the lines to stay still and not roll down the screen any sugestions?? please my monitor is a year old and i dident get a warrenty card if i did i would of got my money back?? please help.

EDIT: and when i adjust my monitor to %100 brightness it fades out and u cant see them???

Hello Marneros,

If the video cable is detachable from the monitor then I would try a new cable. Also what you might try is resetting the monitor to factory defaults if the monitor allows that option. If you need the manual you can get it with this link http://www.chimei.com.tw/upload/pdf/...en_17_745A.pdf

Hi and welcome to PCHF!

Please do not bump topics. You only waited a few hours, we are all volunteers here and will help you as soon as we can. Give what LC said a shot.

Also, if there is a TV or other appliance near your monitor then, that could be your problem. Anything magnetic really.

Hey i tryed restoring it and i just went out and got a new cable and it still isnt working any other suggestions? cause i would really like to fix this problem? but thanks for the idea anyway lord chance
and i also moved my printer and speakers and everything but i was thinking could it be the internal speakers
